Floorspace, a unique movement arts studio located in the Chase Street Park Warehouse, offers ongoing classes in Kids Creative Movement (ages 3-14), Modern Dance (age 15-adult), Improvisation, Contact Improvisation, Yoga, Belly Dance, Massage, and more!

Floorspace provides local and regional choreographers, musicians, video artists and performing artists an intimate venue in which to converse, collaborate and create innovative performances. Our ongoing performance series FLOORSPACE VARIETY NIGHT features local artists performing a medley of dance, performance art, film, poetry, and live music on the last Friday of each month (first experiment August 28th 8pm!).

Floorspace is home to Warehouse Collective, an Athens based contemporary dance company comprised of independent artists seeking to work collaboratively. Learn more about our history here.It also is home to Rose of Athens, a local theater company, and massage therapist, Laura Glenn.
