Kid's Kung Fu will delve more deeply into the martial arts than in typical Ninja Scout Activities.  Animal forms and traditional body-weight calisthenics help students build strength, flexibility, and body awareness. Traditional kung fu with an emphasis on proper structural[skeletal] alignment also builds body awareness as well as the skills to defend oneself.  Starts November 4th Wed 4pm-5pm $60/session

The objective of this class the development of agility, balance, coordination, power, speed, and reaction time within the context of a traditional Chinese martial art. The form and function of Taijiquan will be explored through hands-on instruction, partner work and "push hands" exercises.

This class will be a 6 week intensive class with learning focused around cabaret-style choreography It is designed for you to have fun while learning transitions and movements through space that will increase your performance repertoire. Specifically, this class will focus on technique, direction changes, and enhancing your stage presence. Please bring coin hip scarves if you have them.
