Cost:

How does Improvisation serve as a tool for living inside our bodies? We will practice and reflect upon how our bodies and consciousness facilitate our relationship with ourselves, our peers and our environment. Class will begin with focusing, releasing and relaxing. Moving across the floor, we will warm up individually exploring concepts such as folding, extending, spiraling and swinging. Having established a sense of internal awareness, we will begin working with the architecture of the room, the space and and the other people.

The Alexander Technique is an educational process that can help you move through your day with ease, balance, and coordination. When you take the time to think about how you perform an action, such as sitting, standing, typing, or walking, you give yourself the opportunity to move more comfortably and with less tension. In this movement class, we will learn and practice the principals of The Alexander Techniqe and apply them to our daily activities.
Julie is also available to teach private and group lessons. 706-372-4830. jerothschild@yahoo.com
